Adams Canyon, Granite Hill
This is a local canyon. Like many places in the Wasatch Mountains, this is a stretch of exposed granite. I was drawn to the structure of the granite as well as the contrast between the orange fall leaves and the deep green of the other trees. The painting is 20x20 with a narrow wood slat frame.
